The Best Young Researcher Award (Female, Below 40 years, Overseas) was awarded to the brilliant woman of her age, Dr. Noor Rizvi whose vision,  dedication and consistent efforts has contributed sincerely to the field of academics.
 
About her 
Dr. Noor Ulain Rizvi
 is an assistant professor and the Program Director for the B.Com program at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE- Dubai Campus). This university is a 5-star (Highest Overall Rating Score) institution by Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), Dubai, in its latest Higher Education Classification (HEC) Rating Framework 2020.
 
After completing her PhD (Finance) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Delhi), she joined MAHE-Dubai, with a nomination for the best thesis award. IIT Delhi ranks in the top 3 in Indian rankings and 185 in QS Global World Rankings 2022. During her Ph.D., she wrote in internationally renowned journals and attended prestigious fully-funded conferences that have helped her develop excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
 
Professional Accolades
As a senior research fellow awarded by University Grants Commission (NET-JRF), she has worked as a teaching assistant to renowned professors from IITD. She is a member of the American Finance Association, Rotaract Society and Asian Finance Association.
 
She holds a degree of Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Education, Master of Commerce from the University of Delhi (DU). DU is first among Indian public universities under QS BRICS University Rankings. She has been a rank holder in most of these degrees. Apart from this, she is also enrolled in a professional course, Company Secretary, offered by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
 
She has done exceptional research on a niche area in BRICS banking systems and has numerous ABDC (Australian Business Deans Council) listed publications and several other national publications with citations at this young age. Her laudable work enabled her to receive travel grants from the Indian Council of Social Science Research to attend the annual meeting of the Asian Finance Association in Vietnam, from IIT Delhi to present in London, and from UGC to present in India. She frequently reviews manuscripts on request by ABDC journals. Her recent presentation at Oxford University at the Education Research Symposium was highly received. She has published/presented in banking, non-performing asset, credit-risk, Fintech, mobile banking, and impact of covid-19 on education.
 
She received the best research paper award in 2019 at BITS-Pilani, an institution of eminence conferred by the government of India. She is also a co-principal investigator on a project under the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) research grant scheme.
