Ms. Alka Saxena: A Creative Visionary in the Field of Art and Education

Ms. Alka Saxena is a true creative visionary in the fields of art and education. Alumni of Delhi College of Art and a multi-talented personality, she has been inspiring students of all age groups for the last 30 years through her artistic journey as an artist, teacher, All India Radio producer, stage anchor, scriptwriter, graphic designer, illustrator, curator, and creative motivational workshop conductor. She holds a Trained Certified Visual Arts Teacher under the International Baccalaureate Board and has been working for the CBSE National Board as well as International Boards such as the IGCSE Board and the IB Board as Head of the Arts Department in many prestigious schools in India. 

An Expert in Curriculum Development and Teaching Methodology

 Ms. Saxena has extensive experience managing and mentoring international staff and students of more than 40 nationalities from all over the world. Her expertise in curriculum development and teaching methodology, mentoring staff, guiding students for research projects, portfolio development, and curating art exhibitions has been her forte.

A Trained Artist and Mentor

As a trained artist and mentor, Ms. Saxena has been conducting highly engaging, creative, and interactive workshops for all age groups, such as professionals, college students, and high school students. The workshops she conducts focus on empowering the students and society, for example, the Woman Empowerment Workshop at Womans Polytechnic Faridabad for B.Ed. students and staff and the Healing with Art Workshop at Max Hospital, especially for cancer survivors.

A Creative Force to be Reckoned

In addition to her professional engagements, Ms. Saxena conducts pottery and clay modelling classes for all age groups, including Apeejay School Noida and Apeejay International School Greater Noida, to follow her passion for creative arts. Her dedication to teaching, and mentoring and her passion for her creative art skills make her an invaluable asset to any school or organization.

Continuously Involved with Underprivileged Children

Ms. Saxena has been continuously involved with the underprivileged children of the daily wagers at Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, and Greater Noida through community service educational programs for students. For example, at Lancers International School Gurgaon, in collaboration with the Sankalp School.
