Overview

Prior to taking up the present assignment Professor and Head Civil Engineering Department, Chitkara University (HP), Dr. Goyal was serving Rayat Bahra University as Professor and Dean Academics. Dr. Ajay Goyal also worked as Dean, University School of Engineering and Technology, Rayat- Bahra University, Mohali (Pb., India) and as Joint Campus Director (JCD) cum Director-Principal, Rayat-Bahra Group of Institutes, Ropar Campus. Earlier, Dr. Ajay Goyal was with Baddi University (HP) as Dean (R&D). He has also worked as Dean Student Welfare and Head of the Civil Engineering Department at Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology. Dr. Goyal has also served MMU Group of Institutions as Professor & Head, Civil Engineering Department and Lovely Professional University; as Dean Engineering. He has the distinction of being on the elite panel of the International Consultants’ Team of PES Kenchiku Kankyo Sekkei Ltd, Nagoya (Japan); a leading architectural and environment Consultants with its base in Japan and the US. He is also an active member of Japan Green Building Council (JGBC) and has worked on a number of projects implementing the environmental norms in the public as well as corporate sector in Japan. Dr. Goyal has work experience of more than 30+ years in the education sector and industries. He has worked as an administrator for more than 5 years in various capacities. His areas of expertise are Green Buildings norms, Energy Auditing; Utilization of waste materials with applications in the construction sector, and Geotechnical Engineering. He has the privilege of sharing his expertise at various platforms including at Global Village Environment Seminar at World Expo, Aichi Nagoya (Japan). Dr. Goyal has filed 3 patents in his name and has published his research work in more than 50 peer-reviewed journals and conferences at International and National platform.
