An Educationist, Alumni of Delhi College Of Art New Delhi and A Multi Talented Personality, Ms Alka Saxena has been inspiring students of all age groups since last 30 years of her Colourful Artistic journey as an Artist, A Teacher, All India Radio Producer, and Presenter of various Programmes, Stage Anchor, Script Writer,Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Curator, and Creative Motivational Workshop Conductor. She is a Trained Certified Visual Arts Teacher under the International Baccalaureate Board. Ms Alka has been working for the CBSE National Board as well as International Boards, ie, IGCSE Board and IB Board as Head Of the Arts Department in many Prestigious Schools Of India such as Lancers International IB World School Gurgaon, Springdales School Dhaula Khuan and Delhi Public School Pinjore. She holds Extensive Experience in Managing and Mentoring International Staff and Students with more than 40 Nationalities from All Over The World. Inter-Disciplinary Curriculum Development And Teaching Methodology, Mentoring Staff, Guiding Students for Research Projects, Portfolio Development and Curating Art Exhibitions has been her Forte.
As a Trained Artist and Mentor, Ms. Alka Saxena have been Conducting Highly Engaging, Creative and Interactive Workshops for All Age Groups ie, for the Professionals, College and School Students such as 'Woman Empowerment Workshop' at Woman's Polytechnic Faridabad for BEd.Students and Staff and 'Healing With Art Workshop' at Max Hospital, especially for Cancer Survivors.
Ms. Alka has been continuously involved with the Underprivileged Kids of the Daily Wagers at Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, And Greater Noida through Community Service Educational Programmes for Students for example at Lancers International School Gurgaon,in Collaboration with the Sankalp School.Last but not least Ms Alka conducts Pottery and Clay Modelling Classes for All Age Groups including Apeejay School Noida and Apeejay International School Greater Noida to follow her passion for the Creative Arts!
