Dr. K. MahaLakshmi has Twenty-four years of rich work experience
in both Teaching and Software Development, in that six years in Software Industry
and the remaining eighteen years in teaching, research and managerial roles. Her
research and publication interests include Data Mining, Text Classification, Software
Engineering, Big Data Analytics, Cyber Security. She has more than 5 years of
contribution to the Industry-Institute collaboration as a Career Counselor,
Motivator, and more than a decade as Soft Skill Trainer. She has worked to keep
the training courses and workshops active by developing biannual programs and providing
enduring leadership by conducted over 150 training courses and workshops
for students and faculty members.
In her current contributions to the Industry Institute Interaction
Cell of Karpagam College of Engineering, she has pulled in funds to the Institution
by tapping the CSR division of the industries and creating Center of Excellence
for students and faculty members for joint research with the industry. Her
research activities also funded for workshops, conference and seminars by
government funding agencies like ICMR, CSIR, TNSTC.
