Embarking on a journey of knowledge and innovation, Mrs. Sesha Bhargavi Velagaleti has carved her niche as an assistant professor in the Department of Information Technology at the G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (GNITS), Hyderabad.
With a rich academic background, Mrs. Sesha Bhargavi holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, an M.Tech., and a bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering. With 18 years of teaching experience, she is a beacon of knowledge at GNITS.
Mrs. Sesha Bhargaviss impact extends beyond the classroom, with 25 publications in reputed international journals and conferences, indexed by IEEE and Scopus. Her innovative spirit is reflected in three registered patents, spanning the realms of IoT, Machine Learning, and Artificial intelligence. She is also the author of a textbook on "Computer Networks."
Acknowledging her contributions, Mrs. Sesha Bhargavi has been honoured with prestigious awards, including the "Indian Women Achiever Award 2021," the "Global Eminent Teacher Award 2021," and the "IJMTST Excellence Award for Best Young Researcher Award 2021."
Mrs. Sesha Bhargaviss research thrust lies in the intricate world of Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) security. Specializing in mobile ad hoc network structure and security, her work addresses challenges posed by large distributed systems and diverse wireless networks like WSNs, VANETs, and WMNs.
With a focus on network security, Mrs. Sesha Bhargavi pioneers a fundamental behavioural approach. Her work involves measuring, modelling, and classifying traffic to detect malicious nodes in MANETs. A key emphasis is characterizing traffic behaviour using graph-mining techniques for authentication and trust modelling.
Mrs. Sesha Bhargaviss vision extends to the evolving landscape of IoT. As more devices come online, her research aims to unravel the security challenges of this interconnected world, ensuring a secure and trustworthy Internet.
