Overview

Indrani Chowdhury is a modern Indian author whose works have been published in various national and international anthologies.

She was born and raised in the north-east city of Gauhati in Assam and did her post-graduation in English.

She worked as a teacher for a few years before embracing writing as her chosen vocation.

Her book Raining Drops of Rainbow Verses was published by Notionpress in 2021 and was the recipient of the Asian Literary Societys Wordsmith Award for 2021.

She won the Literary Awards 2022 organized by Ukiyoto Publishing House and the Indian Golden Award 2022.

She was also given the Global Iconic Achiever Award 2022 by Priya’s Wisdom Publication. She has been twice nominated and once shortlisted for Orange Flower Awards by Women’s Web. She was chosen as one of the empanelled authors in the Literoma publishing house’s event International Authors Conclave 2021. Indrani is also nominated for the Writefluencer Award 2021 by Writefluence. Her literary works have not only received critical acclaim but also been recognized by various literary societies and organizations.
Her achievements serve as an inspiration to aspiring writers.
