Meena Rajput: A Beacon of Hope for Special Children

Meet Meena Rajput, a special educator with a heart dedicated to nurturing mentally and physically disabled children for the past 20 years. Her journey is not just a profession; its a story of resilience, love, and a commitment to make a difference in the lives of these special children.

Meenas vision goes beyond education; its about empowering these children to be self-sufficient and lead normal lives, breaking the societal barriers that label them as burdens. Her work is a testament to the transformative power of education and love.

Meenas journey began with the birth of her child, who was born with mental disabilities. In the face of societal disdain, Meenas love for her child became a source of strength, propelling her to fight not just for her child but for all special children facing similar challenges.

In 2014, Meena founded the "Lakshay Education Society" to provide a nurturing environment for disabled children. Through speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and various training programs, the society aims to elevate the lives of these children, covering disabilities like Autism, CP, MR, LD, and ADHD.

Lakshay Education Society celebrates festivals, encouraging children and their parents to connect with society. Meena believes that these children are not burdens but integral parts of our community. Their selfless love, she emphasizes, contributes to a healthier and happier society.

The pandemic posed significant challenges for these special children, who needed societal connections for their well-being. Meena, with the support of parents, adapted to online communication to maintain her routines and behaviour. Now, with improving situations, these children are ready to step back into society.

In celebrating Meena Rajputs unwavering dedication, we extend our best wishes. As a beacon of hope for special children, her story inspires us to break societal norms and create a world where every child, regardless of abilities, is embraced.
