Pandiyarasan Veluswamy is the faculty in the
school of interdisciplinary design and innovation, IndianInstitute of
Information Technology, Design, and Manufacturing, India. He is also serving as a
visiting professor in the MISiS National University of Science& Technology,
Russia. Pandiyarasan is an experimental materials engineer known for his
contributions to the development of self-powered wearable devices and their use
for understanding complex in flexible thermoelectric device systems. Pandiyarasan
has received many recognitions, including the Inspirefaculty award by the
Department of Science and Technology, India, and leading scientist awards by
MISiS, Russia. He also serves as an associate editor and reviewer for the most
prestigious journal in the field of materials science and engineering devices,
Journal of IOP, Springer, Wiley, Science direct, and American chemical society.
In addition to his dedication to engineering, Pandiyarasan is a program
coordinator for Innovation and Entrepreneur. His research goals are to emphasize
the importance of device development as a unifying discipline woven through all
areas of physical and extending to materials science and engineering. He will
highlight the value of collaborations between experimentalists and theoreticians
and the importance of attracting new, and significantly underrepresented,
scholars to the field.
