Dr. Poonam Tanwar has an overall 17+ years of experience working in Engineering College/Universities and currently working as Associate Professor-Computer Science and Engineering. I have supervised many M. Tech / B. Tech students and 3 research scholar are under supervision in various areas of Computer Science and Engineering. Research interests include artificial intelligence (natural language processing, knowledge engineering, etc.) and computer graphics. I am a member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE), USA , Computer Society of India (CSI), Technical Committee of various Institutions and universities for International and National Conferences. Member for Academic Council & Board of Studies. Attended various Faculty Development Program on Leveraging current Technology & Education. Received certificate of RECOGNITION for OUTSTANDING Contribution to Campus Connect Program for all academic years from 2011 to 2017 from M/s INFOSYS, Chandigarh and Letter of Appreciation from IFC3 India for organizing 2 day’s work on Cloud Computing. Won 2nd Prize in FIT for presenting the project on Automated Mosaicing of Torn Paper Documents. Collaborating with industries, research institutes to understand and bridge the gap between educational institutes and Industry. Published 50+ papers in different journals and conferences, and has authored 3 Articles/Chapters in Books, edited 2 journal special issues. Has filed 4 patents, and is on the Advisory/ Editorial Board of many National/International Journals.
