Dr. Reynaldo Gacho Segumpan teaches business
and management courses at University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS)-Ibri,
Sultanate of Oman. Prior to this, he was a Department Head at UTAS-Rustaq. He taught
in the Philippines and later at Universiti Utara Malaysia as an Associate
Professor. Dr. Segumpan is a Chartered Manager and Chartered Fellow of the
Chartered Management Institute, UK; a Chartered Scientist of the Science
Council, UK; and, Fellow, The Higher Education Academy (FHEA), UK. He graduated Magna Cum Laude for his
Bachelor’s Degree, completed three Master’s Degrees, and a Doctor of Communication (DComm) from the
University of the Philippines and a PhD from West Visayas State University.
Dr. Segumpan has published book chapters in the USA, Italy, and India and more than 100 papers (quantitative and qualitative) in refereed journals and in international conferences in Harvard University (HPAIR 2018), University of Cambridge, and University of Hawaii, among many others. Currently, he is involved in editing books to be published by Routledge UK and Elsevier.
