Dr. Shanthi Ramakrishnamoorthy completed her
Doctorate in Information Communication Engineering and Master of
Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University,
Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. She has 14 years of teaching and research
experience. Presently she is working as a Professor in the Department of
Computer Science and Engineering, SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore.
Her areas of interest include Data Science, Machine Learning, Data
Structures and Analysis of Algorithms, IoT and Network Security. She has
published more than 50 research papers in reputed international journals
and National and International Conferences. She has given many invited
talks across the institutions in national and international levels. In her
career, she has bagged lot of awards including IEEE best research paper
award, Outstanding Researcher Award, Faculty Achievement Award, best
performer award, best teacher award etc. She has generated funds
from consultancy projects and research projects from various funding
agencies. She is an active educational consultant for Ministry of
Education and Sports, Kampala, Uganda.
She has taken up heterogeneous roles such as
Dean-Academics, Dean-Research, Head of the Department etc. She is a
lifetime member in reputed professional societies like IEEE, ISTE, IAENG, CSI
etc. She was also an All- India South Zone Volleyball Player and was selected
to participate in Inter-University Volleyball Tournaments for
five consecutive years.
