Overview

Mr. Srinivas Aluvala, Assistant Professor in School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, SR University. He has 13+ years of teaching experience and served as Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering from August 2017 to July 2020. Published 26 research papers in International Journals and 17 International Conference Papers. Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education, Computer Science Teachers Association, and Internet Society and ACM.  Executed a research project titled “Development of Adhesive Tactile Walking Surface Indicator for Elderly and Visually Impaired People” as a co-principal investigator funded by Department of Science and Technology, India. Delivered Expert Talks on “Big Data and Analytics – Hadoop Technologies” and “Computer Networks and E-Learning”. Reviewer for the international conference on “Transformations in Engineering Education” Organized by IUCEE (Indo-US Collaboration for Engineering Education).

Mentor and Jury member for the NASA International Space Apps Challenge 2018. Awarded with a Certificate of Excellence in 6th IEEE International Conference on Technology for Education in National Teachers Contest 2014 for the course design. Received an outstanding performance award in Instructor Professional Development program organized by CISCO in the year 2020. Awarded with the “Best HoD of the Year” award on 17th January 2020 by the Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Foundation in the National Summit on Women and Education Empowerment 2020 from the Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, India, in the august presence of Shri.
